Outstanding Tristan! As an armchair adventurer I so appreciate that you are out there filming challenges such as your Mount Hood climb! When you hit the summit, and we could see the sun breaching the horizon, we knew the big payoff was coming and as always, your exceptional ability with the camera and your gift for commentary made your climb, for us, exceptional! Thank you thank you thank you …
I can’t believe you did that hike in the dark. What a brave soul you are. What an adventure to share with us. Thank you so much!
Your safety is key so I understand the night hike, but it makes for a less desirable video. We often visit Timberline Lodge and on a clear day or more commonly when clouds are below the timberline, views are fabulous. I can only make it up to about 9,000 feet.
Please consider redoing the Mt. Hood climb on a clear day and take as many people and ropes as you need to be safe. The beautiful views that many of us can not see on our own will be greatly enjoyed by many. That would be spectacular.
