In this video I climb Boundary Peak, the highest mountain in Nevada. The scenery there was incredible! Then I drive north, back into California, and find a sweet campsite south of Lake Tahoe.

In the video I mention bears in Nevada. I did some more research about bear populations in the state and found this fascinating PDF report. It’s worth reading if you too are curious about the Nevada bear population.

In this video I share some of the things I did and saw in California’s Yosemite National Park when I was there for a week with my family. I go to Hetch Hetchy, see a bunch of waterfalls, go rock climbing, go tubing on the Merced River, and hike up to the top of Half Dome. A great week! In this video I continue exploring the highlands of the Markagunt Plateau in southwestern Utah. In this video I leave southern Utah’s Capitol Reef National Park and set out to find an obscure and difficult-to-access (but very pretty) waterfall called Sand Creek Falls. I then steer my trusty RAV4 southward and drive up onto the Markagunt Plateau, a forested, high-elevation plateau east of Cedar City, Utah. (Click here if you can’t see the video below.)
