Hi, I saw you use a cutting board hanging from door and rest on the paint below the window. I just bought a motorhome last week and I am no expert. The 1st thing I thought seeing your cutting board was that I would use one of those thin water worms my grandkids play on. I bought one at the Dollar Tree for a dollar and split it so I would not keep hitting my head in my basement. I am sure splitting the tube to length would fit fine on the side of your board…plus no weight to the tube.
