I get contacted occasionally by people wanting to send me money. First, I want to just say that there are lots of people out there who are in need of the money more than us. I choose to camp out of small vehicles because I enjoy it, but some people are forced by circumstances to live in their cars. If you’d like to support those folks, the Home on Wheels Alliance (HOWA) is a worthy cause that helps provide vehicles and equipment to people who would otherwise be homeless on the streets.

That said, making a living on YouTube is currently the hardest it’s been in the 9+ years I’ve been on the platform, and I’ve been seeing more of my videos demonetized for what YouTube deems dangerous behavior (???).

I also understand people’s desire to contribute so that they can be a part of the adventures or just as a way of saying “thanks”. I support certain content creators for the same reasons. Any contribution—be it through watching the SUV RVing videos, joining Adventure Know-How, buying a hoodie or t-shirt, or through the donation button below— will go toward future experiences and gear that I will share on the SUV RVing channel.
