I loved looking at the rocks and vegetation, blue skies and bird song, enjoyed the fact that it wasn’t over tramped by millions of people already . Pristine. I hiked in the Wasach mountains as a teenager, now 40 years ago— it was pristine then and the sense of awe, feeling like if I died here for some reason-( it would have been worth it ! )
