Some people think that this giant boulder, known as Fallen Block (I’ve also seen it called Falling Block) is a megalithic remnant of an ancient civilization. I hiked there to check it out for myself, and that can be seen in this video on my channel.

The photos of this thing online aren’t very good, so I made to take high-res images with the drone when I visited. Click on an image for the larger version. Feel free to use the images in your blog post, video, etc. as long as you link back here as the source.

The coordinates for Fallen Block are 44.721159, -107.549993. I parked at 44.727179, -107.559518 and hiked there. It took less than an hour, and the hike was about 0.9 miles each way. There’s sort of a trail for part of it, but you’ll be on your own for some of it.
