This page shows changes I’ve made to the Gear I Use page. The most recent changes are at the top. I created this changes page on August 21, 2018, so the changes from much earlier than that won’t be listed here.
- October 1, 2021
- Added some info about the new adventuremobile (the Yukon) and updated a few things other things (like some camera gear) throughout the page. I will be doing a complete update of the page soon.
- November 18, 2020
- I went through and updated all the links and added more items. Basically, I refreshed the entire gear list to make sure it is up-to-date.
- April 25, 2020
- Someone asked about the hat I was wearing in a video, and I included links to similar models. Look for them under the “Ball cap” listing in the Clothing section.
- March 16, 2020
- As of the start of 2020, I’ve been filming with a new camera (the Canon M50), and that necessitated other new camera gear like tripods and microphones. I updated those in the Camera Gear section to be current.
- I also created the Apps section.
- I mentioned how many miles my car currently has on it and added the tires I have. I also added my wife’s car to the list.

- I added A2 Hosting and WordPress (my web host and my website software) to the Computer Stuff section.
- November 16, 2019
- I added information about the drone gear I use to the Camera Gear section.
- I went through and made sure all of the links work and that all information is up-to-date.

- I added my carbon monoxide detector to the Emergency Stuff section.
- September 7, 2018
- I changed the Kayaking section to the Kayaking and Tubing section and included some info about the gear I use to tube down rivers.
- August 21, 2018
- In the Cooking and Eating section, I added an alternative to the water jug I currently use (mine is hard to find).
- In the Sleeping Stuff section, I added information about some of the gear my wife uses when we go on trips together.
- In the Car and Car Stuff, I added information about my roof-top cargo box.
- In the Other Electronics section, I added links to information about my solar setup.
- June 12, 2018 – I updated the Camera section.
