  2. Tirsrtan, dude, you should visit Yellowstone in winter with your wife for a totally different (more romantic p) experience. The road through Lamar valley with amazing winter scenery stays open and the historic lodge near Mammoth hot springs has plenty of rooms, much cheaper than the summer. You can then go snowshoeing into the park or take a tour with a snowcoach for amazing winter scenery and then return to the lodge for a romantic time by the fireplace. The campground by Mammoth hot springs stays open too, but not sure how pleasant a minus fifteen degree temperature may be in your car 🙂
