  1. I visited Death Valley more than 30 years ago now. The Alabama Hills were probably my favorite part. We lived in the high-desert of California for a number of years. It could be 114 degrees during the day and 75 degrees at night, you always carried a sweater or light jacket in your car. Seventy-five degrees can feel chilly when the afternoon was 114. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your adventures. God Bless.
