  1. I agree that a compact SUV is a great choice for escaping to nature. Also, you can leave the bed and pillows in the SUV even when you’re not camping. This way, when you’re at work, you can take naps in your car during your lunch hour. And a compact SUV gives you the maneuverability to survive all of the crazy drivers on the freeways, especially in Southern California.
