In this video I finally head out on the road for the first time since my hip surgery. I make it to the high desert in central Utah and enjoy a couple of desert waterfalls before calling it a day at a great secluded campsite. (Click here if you can’t see the video below.)

Hey Tristen….. glad to see another trip’s video starting up. I learn so many things from you. Camped this weekend at Porcupine Reservoir that you showed a while back. I walked the entire road along the lake. I didn’t find a secluded spot like you did as mostly it was private property. Did you drive passed the lake and camp on the other side?
Hi Lynn. No, I camped below the lake. Below the dam. Along the road there below the lake are several little campsites on the right side of the road, and that’s where I camped. Like you, I found that the land along the lake and above it was all private property.
Oh ok. That’s where I camped too. But the traffic noise was awful. Your spot looked more private than mine. I’ve learned I never want that again. LOL
