Wild Animal Spotting & World-Class Hiking in Zion National Park

I went on another world-class hike in Zion National Park and saw some unexpected wildlife along the way. (Click here if you can’t see the video below.)

  1. Tristan, you might want to head over to Death Valley. It doesn’t get much dryer or warmer than that at this time of year. There are also some great BLM wilderness areas to the south: check out the Old Woman, Turtle, Coxcomb, and Eagle Mountains.

    1. Death Valley is definitely on the itinerary, and I should be there in a couple of weeks. I haven’t looked at the camping situation there yet, so it’s good to know that there’s plenty of BLM land around. Conditions in Zion weren’t ideal, but that also meant that the crowds there were far lower than any other time I’ve been. At least I was able to avoid actually hiking in the rain. Thanks Robert!
