Solar, My Upcoming Trip & More

In this video I update you on my hip surgery, talk about an upcoming monthlong trip, talk briefly about my recently acquired solar setup and rooftop cargo box, and ask for you input on a project I’m thinking of putting together. (Click here if you can’t see the video below.)

(Also, a few Cargo Hammocks are now back in stock in the online store.)

  1. Yes yes yes! I would pay the $ for a map of your wonderful campsites, waterfalls, hikes, routes , ruins, & anything else you might include. Thank you for offering to do that.
Would it be possible to pick items up from you when I purchase things to save on shipping since I live in Ogden too?
Taos, Santa Fe, Chaco are some of my favorite spots in NM. I tried to visit all the Pueblos, & it was challenging getting out to a few.
Canyon de Chelly in AZ was fabulous hiking to White House Ruins & riding with an elder Navajo in his pickup truck listening to his great narration of the canyon, history, & his family. It was WAY better than taking a crowded tour. Guess he took pity on me being an older female. LOL
Right now I’m trying to make those window screens for my Pleasure Way van camper. However, there is very little metal around my windows for the magnets to stick to. I think I might put magnetic tape on first, but hate to make the windows look messy. Any ideas?
I’m glad you are recovering nicely. Anxious to see more of your adventures.
    Thank you …. Lynn

    1. I don’t want people coming over to where I live to pick things up, so I’m afraid that I can’t cut out the shipping rate. But I did send off earlier today the order that you placed a couple of days ago. Hopefully you get it soon. Hmmm, that’s tricky with there not being much metal around them. Are you talking about the inside or just the outside? I would expect that there’s enough metal on the outside of your van for magnets to stick to. I know I’ve seen some companies make mesh sleeves that kind of slip on over the top of the open door and then close it to keep the mesh on, but I don’t know what they’re called. Might be worth looking into, though.
